Managed Kubernetes has become a commodity at the top of the market. Every large cloud sells it, and pricing is now the fight. That leaves one meaningful line on the 2026 grid, and it separates three vendors from two.

  • Seven vendors made the Leaders quadrant.
  • Google, Microsoft, and AWS hold the top spots.
  • Red Hat and SUSE are the two Leaders that are not hyperscalers.
  • Alibaba Cloud and Huawei round out the group.
  • Gartner’s clients still ask how VMware’s bundled offers fit together.
  • Both Red Hat and SUSE also placed well in the Forrester Wave for multicloud container platforms.

The takeaway for buyers is simple. The grid narrows the field. It does not pick your platform. Run the pilot on your own infrastructure.
