Microsoft shipped a decision model that turns the model itself into the price list.

Microsoft-Decision-1 returns a label and a probability instead of a paragraph, and it is priced to take over the cheap half of your inference traffic. Here is the short version.

  • The model runs on Alibaba’s Qwen3.5-9B. Microsoft says it will rebase on its own weights and OpenAI’s, with no date.
  • Input tokens cost $0.042 per million and output tokens are free.
  • Microsoft claims it is more than 20 times cheaper than GPT-6 Sol for text classification.
  • More than 100 decision models are now listed, from Cloudflare, OpenAI, Liquid AI and others.
